Hi! I am Valerie.

With over 25 years with corporate giants such as Apple and Medtronic, and Unicorn scale-up Reef Technology, I built and operated increasingly complex global Talent Acquisition and Leadership Development functions. Whether hiring hundreds, building high performing teams or coaching one leader at a time, I have guided high performers through life changing and high impact decisions about themselves, or their people.

I have seen what powerful looks like: failures that create learnings, masterly processes that drive flawless execution, and authentic leaders – some who inspired me, invested in me and made me who I am today. I have also been exposed to the dark side of the force: operational chaos, destructive leadership, and toxic environments.

I founded zscala in April 2024, to work alongside Leaders who are done compromising balance for success, healthy relationships for higher achievements, and great culture for extraordinary revenue. They want it all.

I have been there. And I want it all too.

Born and raised in Paris, France, I have been living in Miami, Florida, since 2012. I am the proud mother of 3 amazing young adults, who are taking their own first steps in the unique paths they have chosen for themselves.

I hold a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Techniques Avancées, Paris, France. This explains my nerdy love for frameworks, processes and KPIs. My career initially took off in London, UK, where an unpredictable path took me from Safety & Environmental Engineering into the world of People. I never looked back.
